The Metis English program aims to:
Help students develop a deeper understanding of passages
Develop writing skills in a variety of genres
Obtain a deeper understanding of grammatical conventions
Students will compare different texts and mediums, master writing pieces that flow smoothly, and learn grade-level vocabulary. We emphasize the value of filling gaps in education through thorough yet engaging practice, especially in often-forgotten topics like grammar.
Curriculum
The curriculum's complexity will differ based on the tutee's grade and how well they do on the diagnostic exam at the start of the tutoring season.
